FASHIONABLE NEWS OF THE WEEK: Nicolas Ghesquière leaves Balenciaga, Marion Cotillard walks down the red carpet barefoot and Zac Posen counter bitch slaps Jennifer Eymere

Not so much breaking news as the most talked about event of the week, Nicolas Ghesquière announced earlier this week his retirement as the creative director for Balenciaga.
Apparently the overly-oggled-over fashion designer had been having some rough tension with PPR the house that owns the brand, and even though he had been in the house since 1997 it was a “joint decision”.
BErnard Arnault from LVMH said he shows his full support to Ghesquière which promises a house all for Nicolas himself.
What will happen no one can predict but oh-em-gee I can’t wait to find out.

It’s no secret that Marion Cotillard is the face of Dior, which is why she is always wearing it to events and red carpets, but this time her shoes were apparently so uncomfortable that she took them off mid red carpet!
She eventually put them back on, but wow I don’t even know what to say.

This one was a major scandal at the last NYFW, when an editor of Jalouse slapped the Zac Posen PR girl because she didn’t have a seat for the show.
People reported she would be suing but no one really confirmed anything, until now. Lynn Tesoro, Zac Posen’s PR sued Jennifer Eymere for 1 million dollars over alleging battery, libel, assault, and slander.
Don’t you just love fashion drama?

In case you didn’t know, I am also the editor in Colombia for the Chilean based fashion news website, Viste La Calle. And I couldn’t be more proud of working here, after earlier this week the Santiago de Chile Chamber of Comerce appointed us as a World Class Leader Eneterprise. I am truly honored.
