FASHIONABLE NEWS OF THE WEEK: Vogue’s new documentary sneak peak, Alexander Wang IS or ISN’T going to Balenciaga? and collaborations that ARE and ARE NOT happening and more.

The news of a Vogue documentary have been out for a while but it is finally a week away.
The documentary will revolve around past and present editors of the magazine, that have shaped the way it is now. These include Grace Coddington, Anna Wintour, Babs Simpson, Phyllis Posnick, Jade Hobson, Tonne Goodman, Camilla Nickerson, Polly Mellene and Carlyne Cerf. A definite must watch! “Is Alexander Wang going to Balenciaga or not?” Is THE question on everybody’s lips at the moment. I vouch for it so where do I register to vote?
After Nicolas Ghesquière’s departure from the Brand it was rumored that Versus’ former designer Christopher Kane would follow him, but it isn’t the case so who is? Apparently Wang is the leader candidate for the position according to Cathy Horyn and WWD and I can’t wait until someone confirms anything.
Only downside of Wang at Balenciaga? If I already want everything Alexander Wang and most Balenciaga, I am going to go broke if he starts designing for the Label. Oh sh*t.

Anyone who knows me, or follows me on Twitter or Instagram knows that I am a passionate follower of Jeremy Scott. I love his winged-anything and actually wear it (In case anyone had doubts).
The smart car designed by Mr. Scott is called “Smart Forjeremy” and will be launched next year for the price of $24,000 USD. I hate Smart Cars but I love him, and Iove those wings, and I am moving to NYC where you rarely use cars. What to do?…….I should get it, it’s an investment piece. Sigh
Watch Jeremy Scott talk about the car in the video below:

I don’t know what’s more depressing, that I didn’t know there was an Australian Teen Vogue equivalent called Miss Vogue, or that I don’t have Kendal Jenner’s body. Even though I am not a big fan of the Kardashians, this young fahshionista is growing on me.
How stunning does she look?!

This week some rumours that Givenchy was doing a collaboration for H&M were circling around the fashion world, however and much to my disappointment, they are false.
Kyle Anderson tweetet about it, Jim Shi tweeted about it, and Fashionista.com wrote about it. Both Givenchy and H&M have denied this collaboration and it makes me oh so sad.
However in more upbeat collaboration news but much less affordable…Hermès is doing a collaboration with, uhm, Rei Kawakubo. How odd yet exciting. I am one that can’t wait to see how this will pan out.
