Met Gala 2012 Impossible Conversations: Best Dressed 3

It was a good trip, but as all good things must come to an end here are the last best dressed of this year’s Met Ball.

Emma Stone in Lanvin.
More than beautiful she looks cute, like little girl picking up flowers kind of cute.

Rooney Mara in Givenchy.

Sofia Vergara in Marchesa.

Emma Roberts in Escada.
Is it weird I kind of want to taste that dress?

Elizabeth Banks in Mary Katrantzou.
Is she the next Daphne Guiness?

Carey Mulligan in Prada.
She looks like a fish. A fierce fish.

Sarah Jessica Parker in Valentino.

Amy Adams in Giambattista Valli.

Coco Rocha in Vintage Givenchy.
Love, love, love that she took a bold choice and went with a suit, a yellow suit for that matter; and look at her danm hair! I want that hair so bad now.
This is the part when I say: I saw Coco Rocha wearing a yellow suit and pink hair, so I bought a yellow suit and got pink hair.

Renée Zellweger in Emilio Pucci.

Mary-Kate Olsen in The Row.

Cate Blanchet in Alexander McQueen.

Ashley Greene in custom Donna Karan.

This is all for today! Now let’s start prepping for next year’s Met Ball.

Met Gala 2012 Impossible Conversations: Best Dressed

What I would give to attend this event surpasses the cost of the ticket to the event (25k), but oh, wouldn’t it be worth to be face to face to all these amazing gowns. It is no secret that this year was based in a section from Vanity Fair from the 30’s called Impossible Conversations, therefore this year’s theme being a mix and match of Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada pieces, now wouldn’t that be a conversation to hear!

If I could talk to anyone alive or dead it would definitely be Diana Vreeland. The way you can “hear” her talking in her autobiography is so poetic and beautiful, she was such a talented, intelligent and classy woman; I would love to at least have 5 minutes with her.

Who would YOU talk to alive or dead?

Now without further ado here are the best dressed of this year’s Met Ball:

Anna Wintour in custom Prada.

Bee Shaffer in Erdem.

Isabeli Fontana in Emilio Pucci.

Giovanna Battaglia in Dolce & Gabanna with her boyfriend (Carine Roitfeld’s son) Vladimir Restoin.

Angela Lindvall in Prada.

Amber Heard with the designer of her dress, Zac Posen.

Linda Fargo in custom Naeem Khan.
I wonder if they would sell this at Bergdorf’s.

Diane Kruger in Prada.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, in Burberry Prorsum

Leighton Meester in Marchesa.
I do not know if it’s the light or she got the wrong hue of spray tan but she looks very orange.

Arizona Muse in Erdem.

Nina Dobrev in cutsom Donna Karan.
It looks like she is dripping oil and gold and I love it!

Chanel Iman in Tom Ford with the designer.
1 word: H-O-T

Stay tuned for more Best Dressed all day today!
