Must Watch2:

How about 2 must watch videos today? You are in for a treat.

Justin Wu directs this Boys and Girls of Fashion Week video for Vogue Paris featuring Ming Xi, Olivia Palermo, River Viiperi, Francisco Lachowski and other ridiculosly good looking people involved in fashion; all while singing Franz Ferdinand's “Do You Want To”

This is what I call FUN-Fashio’ (pronounce it with an André Leon Talley accent)

It is that time of the year again, the most important month in the fashion industry! The fashion weeks are rushing, the magazines get bigger, and the wardrobe gets chic-er (in my opinion). As last year, I chose not 5 but my top 10 picks for the best covers of the month.

They are all so great, so it was hard to edit them down but here they are:

  1. Carolyn Murphy for Vogue Italia shot by Steven Meisel.
  2. Kristina Salinovic for Harper’s Bazaar Singapore.
  3. Gwen Stefani for Harper’s Bazaar shot by Terry Richardson.
  4. Lady Gaga for Vogue shot by Mert & Marcus.
  5. Emma Stone for Interview shot by Mikael Jansson.
  6. Linda Evangelista for Interview Russia shot by Nikolay Biryukov.
  7. Lindsey Wixson for Flare shot by Max Abadian.
  8. Victoria Beckham for Glamour by Pamela Hanson.
  9. Kate Moss for Vogue Paris shot by Mert & Marcus.
  10. Maryna Linchuk for Vogue España shot by Miguel Reveriego.

Do you agree? What were YOUR favorites?
Have a great September everyone!

Summer is finally here and bright colors are everywhere! I love this time of the year because like everyone else, fashion takes a small vacation with light and relaxed trends that allow a breeze of fresh air between the heavier seasons.

Just to make it clear, I am NOT a fan of butt cheeks on magazine cover or any other page for that matter, but there is just something about Gisele Bundchen and Vogue Paris that is just chic, how is that possible? I don’t know, but somehow they make it work.

Here are my top 5 magazines for June:

1. GIsele Bundchen for Vogue Paris by Inez Van Lamsweerde.

2. Victoria Beckham for Interview Magazine by Angelo Pennetta.

3. Kate Moss for Vogue UK by Mert & Marcus.

4. Noomi Rapace for Dazed & Confused by Sølve Sundsbø.

5. Brooklyn Decker for Flare Magazine by Max Abadian.

I am astonished by this Kate Moss cover! She is married with kids and almost 40 but she is still o the cover of magazines, and may I say better than any other model out there. As usual Mert & Marcus did an amazing job. Look at the light, the colors reflected on Kate’s skin, without a doubt one of the best covers of the year!

Here are the rest of my picks for this month:

1. Kate Moss for Vogue Paris shot by Mert & Marcus.

2. Karlie Kloss for Vogue Italia shot by Steven Meisel

3. Scarlett Johansonn for Interview shot by Sølve Sundsbø

4. Antonia Wesseloh for Tush #26 Winter by Armin Morbach

5. Ashley Greene for Flare shot by Max Abadian

My signed copy of Irreverent by Carine Roitfeld

I love her work and she is an amazing, inspiring woman. Now, if only I understood what she wrote. I know French but i just can’t read her handwriting, especially the second line, so if anyone knows what it says plays tell me? I’d really appreciate it!

I blogged about the book a while ago and it is even better than I imagined, if you love fashion and more importantly, Vogue Paris and Carine Roitfeld, this is a MUST have. You can buy your copy here but hurry, it is limited edition!

Sasha Pivarova graces Vogue Paris this month, and all I can think about is that she looks like a mermaid that just got out of water. The Dress fits her perfectly, the way the light shows of her body and her deep blue eyes are just all so breath taking. This are my favorite covers of October 2011:

1. Vogue Paris featuring Sasha Pivarova by Mert & Marcus.

2. Dazed & Confused featuring  Riccardo Tisci, Mariacarla Boscono and Saskia de Brauw by Matthew Stone.

3. Harper’s Bazaar Turkey featuring Lily Cole by Koray Biran.

4. Vogue Hellas featuring Ieva Laguna by Koray Biran.

5. Interview Magazine featuring Florence Welch.
